This is my personal blog where I talk about stuff I'm up to in life or at work, or I write about the topics of Community Management, Social Media, Marketing, Video Games, and music. These are all topics that I have a lot of interest in and passion for, so I plan to share what I'm thinking about or some knowledge/skills that I may have picked up. Over the past four years I've been active in online communities (specifically video game communities) and in the past year and a half I've dove head first into Social Media and leveraging it as a marketing tool, as well as a tool for professional networking. I have experience in managing online communities that are not centralized around a forum (What I consider a distributed community), and have a wealth of experience with building communities through social media tools like Facebook and Twitter, and using those tools to monitor your brand and interact with the community.
