Hello! My name is Sam "QforQ" and I am a Community Manager in the Video Game Industry. I'm an Online Content Manager at Playfish, a Facebook Game company owned by Electronic Arts.  I work in Playfish's San Francisco office, on titles developed and published from the SF office.

Please contact me if you're working on something super awesome.  I always love hearing about awesome stuff! 🙂

This is my personal blog where I talk about stuff I'm up to in life or at work, or I write about the topics of Community Management, Social Media, Marketing, Video Games, and music.  These are all topics that I have a lot of interest in and passion for, so I plan to share what I'm thinking about or some knowledge/skills that I may have picked up.  Over the past five years I've been active in online communities (specifically video game communities) and in the past two and a half I've dove head first into Social Media and leveraging it as a marketing tool,  as well as a tool for professional networking. I have experience in managing online communities that are not centralized around a forum (What I consider a distributed community), and have a wealth of experience with building communities through social media tools like Facebook and Twitter, and using those tools to monitor your brand and interact with the community.

    Hi Sam,
I’m writing to let you know that Maxence Leclerc or the person going by that name is a scammer. This person sends out bogus advertising offers in the hope that you will install fake advertising code on your website. That is why he wants his message deleted. Google the name “Maxence Leclerc” to learn more or read my blog post about the scam http://compleattraveller.blogspot.com/2012/01/scammer-alert.html — You have been warned.
